Principal Science Advisor for Scottish Government specialising in the circular economy, and in greenhouse gas emissions from land use, land use change, peatlands and agriculture. From previous roles, I also have experience in peatland and arctic biogeochemistry and carbon cycling, hydrology, and in chemical contaminants such as per and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) and halogenated flame retardants.
