I am interested in doing research and/or work in global public health preparedness (policy) processes and risk management. I am a health policy analyst and Infectious Disease Control researcher with a special interest in development, zoonosis control in wildlife-livestock interface areas and interdisciplinary and multi-institutional (particularly One Health) policy processes for health planning, risk response and pandemic preparedness. Previous work experience includes veterinarian: private practice, and House Surgeon at the University of Zambia's (UNZA) Large and Small Animal hospitals and Lecturer and Researcher in Veterinary Public Health, contributing to teaching Veterinary Epidemiology, Environmental Health and Animal Health Economics at the School of Veterinary Medicine. Former member of the Zambia Bureau of Standards Dairy Standards Technical Committee in Dairy and Dairy Products
