Kawasaki Ken-ichi

Kenichi Kawasaki (M'89) received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Kyushu University, Japan, in 1983. He began his career with Sony Corporation in 1983, and worked on the product design and development of broadcasting satellite receivers. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Texas at Austin in 1989. From 1996 through 2005, he was with Sony Electronics Inc, San Diego, CA, where he developed digital television receivers, and researched on wireless technologies. He is a General Manager of Millimeter-Wave Systems Development for Sony Corporation, Tokyo.
