Karen Christensen is Professor of Health and Society at Roskilde University in Denmark and Professor II at Innland Norway University of Applied Sciences, Lillehammer. Her research and publications focus on welfare sociology, including areas such as social care, health and inequality, social policy, care work, disability, everyday life, gender and migration. She has led or collaborated on a range of national and international projects and has expertise in qualitative methodology.
