Kamil Postava

Kamil Postava received the Ph.D. degree in optics and optoelectronics from INSA Toulouse, Toulouse, France, and Palacky University, Olomouc, Czech Republic, in 1997. After his habilitation at Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic, he is currently an Associate Professor with the Technical University of Ostrava, Ostrava, Czech Republic. He has been a Visiting Professor with Shizouka University (Japan), Bialystok University (Poland), and the University Paris-Sud XI (France). He has authored or co-authored 130 publications. He has 1000 citations with an h-index of 17. His research interests cover optics and magneto-optics of thin films, periodic systems and nanostructures, spectroscopic ellipsometry and infrared and terahertz spectroscopy, and magnetism of thin films and nanostructures.
