Kal Karim

Kal Karim received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Essex University, Essex, U.K., in 1990 and 1995, respectively. He joined Cranfield University as Lecturer in organic and computational chemistry in 2003. After a Senior Lectureship (2011–2013) at Cranfield, he moved to the University of Leicester as a Senior Lecturer in organic and computational chemistry (September 2013). He is the author/inventor of 53 publications/patents and current research interests include computational design of molecularly imprinted polymers and the design and development of polymers for the separation and purification for drug targets and environmental pollutants.
