Jürgen Kosel (Senior Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees (Hons.) and the Habilitation from the Vienna University of Technology, Vienna, Austria, in 2002, 2006, and 2022, respectively. From 2006 to 2008, he worked with Automotive Industry, MAGNA Powertrain, Lannach, Austria. From 2008 to 2009, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the University of Stellenbosch, Stellenbosch, South Africa. He was the Founder and the CSO of Solutions for Nanotechnology, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 2015 and 2016, respectively. He is currently the PI of the Research Unit Advanced Sensors and Electronics Technologies, Silicon Austria Labs, Villach, Austria. He is an Adjunct Professor of electrical engineering with the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Thuwal, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Kosel is an Associate Editor of IEEE Sensors Journal and an Elected Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. He served as an AdCom Member for the IEEE Sensors Council and IEEE Magnetics Society and was a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Sensors Council.
