Junyoung Ko

Junyoung Ko received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in civil engineering from Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2008 and 2015, respectively. From 2016 to 2018, he held a postdoctoral position at the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Constructional Engineering, Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX, USA, where he was involved in developing design methods for shallow and deep foundations. Since 2019, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Department of Civil Engineering, Chungnam National University, Daejeon, South Korea, where he leads the development of wireless sensor network technology for landslide monitoring.
