Julia Curio

I currently work in the Regional Climate Group at the Department of Earth Sciences, University of Gothenburg. I study the weather and climate of the Tibetan Plateau and its impact on the downstream regions in Asia. My research focusses on precipitation, meso-scale disturbances (e.g. Tibetan Plateau Vortices), and moisture transport. Recently I also started working in an interdisciplinary project on climate change and migration in mountain regions.
