Julian Alfredo Fernandez-Nino

I have conducted research on a variety of priority public health problems including environmental health, mental health, and social epidemiology. I was the National Director of Epidemiology and Demography, Ministry of Health and Social Protection, Colombia during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, I am an Assistant Scientist at Johns Hopkins University. I contribute to improving health information to measure and ultimately reduce health inequities in low- and middle-income countries.
