Francisco Lagos is a Professor of Economics. He earned his PhD in Quantitative Economics at the University of Alicante (Spain). At the beginning of Professor Lagos’s career he was very focused on theoretical models. In particular, he was interested in analyzing several aspects of public pension systems. Then he moved to a more experimental methodology to research about topics such as altruism, reciprocity, incentives in the labor market, discrimination, etc. He has published more than 20 articles in relevant journals such as European Economic Review, American Economic Review, Games and Economic Behavior, Experimental Economics, Journal of Behavioral Economics and Organization, Economic Inquiry, Economica, Social Choice and Welfare, Journal of Populations Economics, etc. He has also actively managed several research projects from national and international institutions.
