Predrag Jovanović (born in 1973) has finished his undergraduate studies in transportation and traffic engineering from University of Belgrade, in 2000. He received his Master degree in 2011 and in 2016 he received his Ph.D. for the thesis “Modelling Parameters of Railway Timetable Robustness”. His principal research field is Technology and Traffic Management at Railway. In June 2022 he became an Associated Professor at University of Belgrade - Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, Department for Railway Traffic. Currently, he's engaged at five bachelor level courses and one master level course. His research interests are: Timetable, Scheduling and Traffic Management at Railway and Technical processes at Railway, Traffic flows at Railway, Capacity of Railway Lines, Capacity of Stations, Meeting points and Interlocking Arrangements and Designing and Specifying Railway Operations at Stations. He was an author or co-author on more than 30 scientific papers published in journals and on the international and national scientific conferences. He was part of the teams for more than 25 scientific projects and studies.
