Josef Ladenbauer received his diploma in technical mathematics from the Vienna University of Technology, Vienna, Austria, in 2008. In his thesis he theoretically investigated the immediate effects of electrical spinal cord stimulation. He is currently research/teaching assistant at the Neural Information Processing Unit, Technische Universität Berlin, and associated with the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience Berlin, Germany. His research is focused on dynamics and control of recurrent cortical networks.
