Jose V Siles

Jose V. Siles (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain, in 2008. In 2010, he joined the Submillimeter-Wave Advanced Technology Group, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA, USA, as a Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow. He is currently Project Manager and Technical Lead of NASA's ASTHROS mission, planned to launch from Antarctica in 2024. Dr. Siles was the recipient of the Fulbright Postdoctoral Research Award at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 2010-2012, 2012 NASA/JPL Outstanding Postdoctoral Research Award, 2019 NASA/JPL Lew Allen Award for Excellence, and the U.S. Antarctic Service Medal in 2016.
