Jose Cordova-Garcia

Jose Cordova-Garcia received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Stony Brook, NY, USA, in 2012 and 2017, respectively. In 2017, he joined the faculty of Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) Polytechnic University, Guayaquil, Ecuador. He is a member of the Networking and Information Technology research group and also serves as the Director of the Telematics Engineering Program at ESPOL. His research interests include data-based applications for smart grids, event detection, handling missing data, networked control and machine learning applications for power and networking systems. He was a recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship from the Department of State during his M.S. studies.
