PhD in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry, co-authored about 230 research papers, books and book chapters, mostly addressing plant responses to abiotic stresses (cold, heat, drought, salinity, minerals) at physiological, biochemical and molecular levels, as well agronomic biofortification issues.
