Jose M. Seixas has been an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, since 1987. He was with a number of companies, involved in telecommunication and computer peripheral designs, and he was also with the Brazilian Navy. His research topics comprise general signal processing, neural networks, instrumentation, and engineering education.
