Jose Luis del Pozo

Jose L del Pozo is the current Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology Chair in the Clínica Universidad de Navarra, Pamplona, Spain and the Full Professor in the School of Medicine at Universidad de Navarra. He was trained in Pamplona (Clínica Universidad de Navarra), Madrid (H Ramón y Cajal) and did an Infectious Diseases Fellowship at USA (Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN). He has a particular interest in biofilm associated infections. He is member of the Healtcare-associated infection Study Group for the Spanish Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. He has authored over 150 publications, with his current research with the Microbial Biofilms study group focussing on the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for biofilm related infections.
