José D. Martín has done research on the field of Machine Learning, Computational Intelligence and Data Analysis since 1999. Currently, his main research interest is Quantum Machine Learning. That research has been published in more than 60 papers in journals indexed by JCR (Journal Citation Reports). He is a founder member of the research group IDAL (Intelligent Data Analysis Laboratori, http://idal.uv.es), and the Medical Data Analysis Task Force (MDATF) of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Data Mining Technical Committee, which currently chairs. He has been involved in the organization of workshops and special sessions in the main conferences of his field of research. José D. Martín has led a number of international research projects (with both public and private funding), mainly focused on the research of Computational Intelligence methods applied to different fields, e.g., Medicine, Biomechanics, Marketing, etc. At present, his main research interest is Quantum Machine Learning.
