Experience in Genetics, with emphasis on Retroviral Molecular Biology and Clinical Research in HIV / AIDS, working on the following topics: HIV-1 genetic diversity, genotyping of HIV-1 drug resistance, bioinformatic, new generation sequence and HIV-1 evolutionary phylogeny in Brazil. Coordinator of the WHO National Reference Laboratory (HIVResNet). Former member of the Advisory Technical Committees of the Ministry of Health.
