Prof. Dr. Marchetti and his group (Reactor Engineering and Catalysis) currently works at the Faculty of Science and Technology (REALTEK), Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). Their research work is related to valorization of waste into new sustainable and renewable processing for the production of bio-based materials, bio-plastics, bio-fuels and bio-chemicals. Their work is related to catalyst preparation, catalyst testing, experimental reaction testing, reaction engineering, kinetics modeling, techno-economic evaluation, as well as Theoretical calculations for the understanding of the adsorption, reaction, desorption, diffusion, etc taking place of the solid catalyst.
