ORISE Fellow for the Pregnancy and Birth Defects Zika Virus Response Team at the CDC. Received PhD in Epidemiology at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, MSPH from UNC in 2014, and BS in Mathematics from the University of Richmond in 2012. Research interests focus on infectious disease and reproductive epidemiology, specifically looking at congenital zika syndrome, malaria infection during pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, adverse birth outcomes attributable to infectious diseases.
