Jonathan D Raybuck

My research focuses on the interaction between learning & memory and addiction. Of particular interest to me are the connections between executive function and addiction. A primary goal of my work is to use translational animal models to better model human drug abuse; thus, identifying target mechanisms through which to treat the cognitive deficits that can drive addiction and relapse to drug use. Additionally, I work to characterize the neural and molecular substrates of these models.
