Before joining the Institutes ab initio, Jon worked in the School of Health at GCU. Previously he was based at the University of Oxford’s Clinical Trial Service and Epidemiological Studies Unit, where he worked mainly on meta-analysis of international overviews of randomised clinical trials in areas including breast (EBCTCG), colorectal and prostate cancer, leukaemias, vascular diseases etc using innovative statistical methods. He has a background in astrophysics, mathematics and electronics.
