个人简介
My research focuses on soft matter (stimuli-responsive materials, surfactants, and polymers such as polymerized ionic liquids), complex fluids (e.g., concentrated nanocarbon dispersions), solvent-free nanofluids, and materials derived from them. We’ve made highly thermally conducting MWCNT coatings with thermal conductivities up to 3 kW/m/K. Our 6.4% by weight graphene in water dispersions yield rheo-optical fluids and high surface area electrodes by electrospinning.
We provide short courses and workshops in nanoparticle technology, surface modification chemistries for composite, coating, and advanced material technologies, polymer and coating technologies including cross-linking chemistries, and A-Z in patents and patenting, including training inventors how to draft patent applications themselves and in helping management focus R&D thrusts to better support IP development.
