John T. Logan

John (Jack) T. Logan (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI, USA, in 2010, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Amherst, MA, USA, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. In 2016, he joined the Radar Division, U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Washington, DC, USA, where he has since been responsible for leading a variety of antenna research and development programs spanning high frequency (HF) to microwave bands. He also serves as the Radar Division Representative on the NRL Invention Evaluation Board. He holds over ten patents and patent applications. His current research interests include antenna theory and design, wideband antenna elements, HF phased arrays, endfire arrays, and radar systems. Dr. Logan is a recipient of the NRL Jerome and Isabella Karle Distinguished Scholar Fellowship, the NRL Alan Berman Research Publication Awards, and the IEEE AP-S Edward E. Altschuler Magazine Prize Paper Award, along with best conference paper awards as a student.
