Dr. Wagner is a Research Staff Member, IBM Master Inventor, and Manager of the Computational Biophysics group in IBM Research - Australia, and a Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Melbourne. Dr. Wagner received his Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from the University of California, Davis, in 1998, and joined IBM Research in 2004 after completing postdoctoral research at the University of Connecticut Health Center. Dr. Wagner has coauthored 35 journal articles, book chapters, and books, as well as 8 patents and 43 patent applications.
