Joel Strickland

Joel is a Chartered Engineer and a professional member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals, and Mining (MIMMM). He studied a Rolls-Royce sponsored metallurgy and materials Science PhD at Leicester University. His primary research focus is on understanding pattern formation during directional solidification. He is particularly interested in applying micro-structural characterisation techniques to deduce the dynamics of solidification.
