João B. O. Souza Filho

João B. O. Souza Filho received the Electronic Engineering degree in 2001, and the M.Sc. and D.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering in 2002 and 2007, respectively, all from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was with the Federal Center of Technological Education Celso Suckow da Fonseca (CEFET-RJ) from 2005 to 2015. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering and the Postgraduate Program in Electrical Engineering, UFRJ. His research interests include pattern recognition, machine learning, artificial neural networks, adaptive systems, digital signal processing, embedded systems, and electronic instrumentation.
