Joan Navarro

Joan Navarro received the B.Sc. degree in computer network engineering, the M.Sc. degree in telecommunications engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in information and communication technologies from La Salle Universitat Ramon Llull, in 2006, 2008, and 2015, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Computer Engineering Department, La Salle URL, and a member of the Group of Research in Internet Technologies and Storage, La Salle URL. His research interests include cloud/edge computing, big data, concurrency control in large-scale distributed systems, and replication policies in cloud-based databases. In addition, he is currently participating in several research and development projects.
