Joao Carlos Perbone de Souza

Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences at Unesp - Bauru campus (2023-current). He was a professor at the Instituto Federal Goiano-Rio Verde (2016-2023), where he served as coordinator of the Graduate Program in Agrochemistry at IF Goiano (2018-2019) and coordinator of the Scientific Initiation Program (2022). PhD in Chemistry (Physical Chemistry) from IQSC-USP, where he worked in the Bioelectrochemistry and Interfaces group (2013-2017). The doctoral project involved the themes: bioelectrodes, differential electrochemical mass spectrometry (DEMS), flexible electrodes, enzymes applied in electrochemistry, bioelectrocatalysis and alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH). Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with Technological Attributions from the Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG), where he worked mainly on the following subjects: physical-chemistry of interfaces and colloidal, LCST, copolymers obtained via RAFT, thermo-responding polymers, Hofmeister series. He carried out an internship at the Institute of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo (IQ-USP) under the supervision of prof. Mario J. Politi and prof. Fabio H. Florenzano, where he developed activities aimed at studying the interaction of fluorescent probes with polymeric micelles. He held a postdoctoral internship (2019-2020) at the University of São Paulo at the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos (IQSC-USP) under the supervision of prof. Frank N. Crespilho.
