Jing Xiao currently works at the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Shenzhen University. Jing does research in Architectural Theory and Urban History. His current project is 'Mediated Forms: Architecture, Prints, and the Transformation of Building Knowledge during the Ming China'. Forthcoming writings include a chapter in the book The Routledge Handbook on the Reception of Classical Architecture (Routledge, 2019) and another chapter in the book Grand Theater Urbanism: Chinese cities in the 21st century (Springer, 2019).
