Jie Tang(唐捷)

Jie Tang is a chief researcher and group leader of the Advanced Low-Dimensional Nanomaterials Group at the National Institute for Materials Science, Japan, a professor at Tsukuba University, Japan, and an adjunct professor at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her BEng degree in materials science from Tsinghua University, China, and her PhD degree in materials physics from Osaka University, Japan. Her research interests include high-pressure physics, electron-emission materials, and graphene supercapacitors for energy-storage applications.
