个人简介
His research interests include satellite-based monitoring forest dynamics, application of advanced computing to remote sensing, and satellite remote sensing techniques. During 2004-2010 he led the LEDAPS (Landsat Ecosystem Disturbance Adaptive Processing System) project, which used mass processing of Landsat data to compile the first 30-m resolution map of North American forest disturbance. He has also used optical remote sensing to investigate albedo impacts of ecosystem disturbance and effects of climate change on high-latitude vegetation.
