Jennifer Jo Thompson is a medical anthropologist in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences, University of Georgia. Her work is situated at the intersection of science, health, and food systems -- and aims to engage with policy and social justice along these lines. Her research interests include risk perception, public engagement with science and scientific uncertainty, and trust in scientific and other forms of expertise.
