Jenil Patel

Dr. Jenil Patel has a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Texas at Houston, and is a trained physician from India. His research interests include perinatal and chronic disease epidemiology with an added focus on occupational health. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Department of Epidemiology at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and works for the Arkansas Center for Birth Defects Research and Prevention. His skills include, but are not limited to, conducting independent epidemiologic research projects, research grant management/writing, advanced data analyses and systematic reviews. His current research projects focus on maternal risk factors including occupational risk factors and association with birth defects, with implementation of novel analytic techniques.
