Bio
Development and optimization of analytical methods for biologically active components and mycotoxins determination in maize genotypes by HPLC with DAD and FLD.
The main field of interest is phytochemicals identification and quantification in maize kernel by HPLC induced by abiotic and biotic stress (i.e. herbicide application, drought effect) as well as the examination of the nutritional quality of maize for human consumption (i.e. sweet maize and popcorn).
The current projects are: 1. Integrated system of field crop cultivation: conservation of biodiversity and soil fertility (TR31037); 2. Improving the quality of maize and soybean by conventional and molecular breeding (TR 31068) .'
