Jelena Lukić

Jelena Lukic was born in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1970. She received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Belgrade, Belgrade, Serbia, in 1996, 2004, and 2013, respectively. She has been with the Electrical Engineering Institute Nikola Tesla, University of Belgrade, since 1996. She holds a position of the Head of the Specialized Laboratory for Oil and Paper Insulation Testing, Electrical Engineering Institute Nikola Tesla, accredited according to ISO 17025. Her field of expertise is insulating oil and paper analyses, insulating oil and cellulose aging, know-how in oil treatment processes for the removal of corrosive sulfur, and power transformers condition assessment. She is a Project Leader of a number of research projects in the area of paper/oil insulation aging, moisture distribution, corrosive sulfur phenomena in power transformers, and oil treatments and convener in CIGRE and International Electrotechnical Committee Technical Committee 10 (IEC TC 10) WG’s. She is delegate of Serbian National Committee in IEC TC 10—Fluids for Electrotechnical Applications, Serbia NC Representative in CIGRE SC A2-Transformers, and IEC TC 10 Liaison Co-Officer of CIGRE SC A2.
