Current research interests: chemistry of fungal secondary metabolites. Methods and techniques: Parallel microfermentation in a variety of media; HPLC-based purification and isolation of any compound of interest; standard structural elucidation (NMR, MS-MS; ECD/VCD). What we're working on now: Solving a 20 year-old problem on the stereochemistry of some fungal meroterpenoids.
