Ribierre Jean Charles

Jean-Charles Ribierre was born in Caen, France, in 1973. He received the B.S. degree in physics and the M.S. degree in modern optics and spectroscopy from the University of Caen, Caen, France, in 1997 and 1998, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the University Louis Pasteur of Strasbourg, Strasbourg, France, in 2002. He moved to RIKEN (Japan) to work as a JSPS Research Fellow. From 2004 to 2007, he joined as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Organic Semiconductor Centre, School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of St. Andrews, St Andrews, U.K. From 2007 to 2010, he was Research Scientist at the Advanced Science Institute in RIKEN, Japan. From 2010 to 2013, he then worked as an Assistant Professor at Ewha Womans University, Seoul, Korea. Since 2013, he has been working at the Center for Organic Photonics and Electronics Research, Kyushu University, currently as an Associate Professor. His research interests include the physics of organic optoelectronic materials and devices.
