Jarosław Sotor received his M.Sc. degree in fiber technology from the Wrocław University of Technology, Wrocław, Poland, in 2005. He defended his Ph.D. dissertation in the field of microchip solid-stated lasers in 2011. Since 2005, he has been with the Laser and Fiber Electronics Group, Wrocław University of Technology. He is currently an Associate Professor. His main expertise areas cover solid-state and fiber laser technology. At present, his research interest includes applications of novel nanomaterials for photonics.
