Jane Coad

Professor Jane Coad has a strong background in both art and children's nursing, specifically long term needs and complex care. She undertakes a number of arts-based participatory qualitative methods, surveys and complex evaluation projects with her research portfolio being circa £9 million since 2011 as Professor in Children and Family Nursing and Clinical Professor (Nottingham University Hospitals Trust). User Involvement across health and social care is central to Jane’s portfolio. She also has a strong background in education undertaking lecturing and Programme Director posts. In terms of professional recognition, she was awarded a Royal College of Nursing Fellowship (FRCN) in 2013 for lifetime research and she leads on a number of local, national and international groups holding substantive posts.
