Career Trajectory
Bio
RNDr. Jan Kratzer, Ph.D. – born 1981 in Prague, Czech Republic. He has been working in the field of atomic spectrometry, (ultra)trace element analysis and speciation analysis for 18 years. His current research interests include atomization of volatile compounds in dielectric barrier discharges (DBD), in-atomizer preconcentration and trace element analysis of environmental and biological samples including speciation analysis.
He has co-authored 55 articles in international impacted journals (h-index 19, 939 citations according to WOS), 4 national patents, 2 utility models and more than 120 conference contributions at international and domestic conferences. He has been a principal investigator of 11 scientific projects (GAČR, GAUK, FRVŠ, international mobility supported by CAS, project of regional cooperation by CAS), co-investigator o 1 international project (DFG) and a team member of other 9 projects.
