I have research interests in the epidemiology of pathogens (experience in viruses and bacteria) with the aim that results from such studies might inform rapid response as well as long-term public/global health interventions and/or policy. I also have tremendous interests in strengthening research capacity, particularly in LMICs, through training and training opportunities in genomic epidemiology.
