Agronomist (Federal University of Espirito Santo – 1999), specialized in Soil and Environmental Science (Federal University of Lavras – 2002), master (2004) and doctor (2008) in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition (State University of Northern of Rio de Janeiro). In 2010, he did a post doctoral internship at the University of Milan. Professor at University of Brasilia since 2011, his work has been targeted to develop biological inputs using organic residues and beneficial microorganisms.
