I am a quantitative spatial ecologist. I hold a PhD in spatial and quantitative marine ecology through Deakin University. I work on applied issues around conservation and natural resource management in the marine environment. My research interests include optimal monitoring of marine species (particularly fishes), understanding the issues associated with detectability bias, quantifying macroecological processes, habitat suitability modelling and predictive mapping.
