个人简介
The research area of professor of Huot is the understanding and characterization of metal-hydrogen interactions, especially in metal hydrides. He is also interested in the synthesis of new and low cost metal hydrides that have storage properties adapted to industrial conditions. He studies the hydrogen storage properties in nanomaterials and materials that have undergone severe plastic deformation. Another aspect of his research is hydrogen diffusion and the impact of hydrogen on the chemical and physical properties of metallic coatings. He is seeking a fundamental understanding of the effect of a change in chemical composition or crystalline structure on the hydrogen storage properties of materials. Professor Huot has solid expertise in the field of material characterization, especially the use of neutron and synchrotron radiation.
