Jackie McRae

A Clinical Academic Speech & Language Therapist with over 30 years experience working in critical care environments. My expertise is in the management of complex dysphagia for those with tracheostomy, requiring ventilation. My research is focused on those with spinal cord injury and I have developed best practice recommendations and a swallow risk screening tool to promote early and focused interventions with good outcomes. I supervise and mentor clinical academics and teach advanced practice.
