I completed the Physics Degree at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) in 2014, spending the fourth year at Uppsala University (Sweden) under the ERASMUS program. In 2014 I worked at the R&D department of the aeronautical company Aernnova Engineering, carrying out analytical studies of mechanics of fracture in elastoplastic media. In 2015 I completed the Master of Nanophysics and Advanced Materials at UCM. I did my Master’s Project at the Instituto de Energía Solar of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (IES-UPM), focusing on the analysis of the reliability of Triple Junction Solar Cells. In November 2019 I finished my PhD thesis at the Instituto de Sistemas Optoelectrónicos y Microtecnología at UPM. During the thesis, I completed a stay of three months at the Institute of Quantum Electronics of ETH-Zürich under the direction of Prof. Jérôme Faist. My research interest encompassed the design, characterization, and fabrication of IR and THz optoelectronic devices, together with the modeling and experimental evaluation of metal-oxide heterostructures for applications in plasmonics and as metamaterials. As a result, I am co-author of 13 Q1 scientific articles, in 3 of them as the first author, and in 6 as the second author. Besides I am co-author of 28 contributions to international conferences, in 3 of them as the presenting author. In 2020 I signed with Zabala Innovation to work as a R&D and Innovation Consultant, defining and writing innovative projects aligned with the European strategic priorities to decarbonize the economy by 2050, and aiming to get funding from H2020 and Horizon Europe calls. Finally, in 2022 I enrolled AJL Ophthalmic S.A., to work as a Regulatory Product Specialist, and to provide support to the International Sales Department.
