Maděra Jiří

Jiří Maděra received the Ph.D. degree in physical and materials engineering from Czech Technical University in Prague, Prague, Czech Republic, in 2003, and defended his habilitation thesis in 2018. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Materials Engineering and Chemistry, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague. His research activities are focused on the theoretical analysis of heat and moisture transport, computational modeling and analysis of properties and responses of building materials exposed to effects of the real environment, energy balance calculations of building construction or their parts, determination of effective thermal conductivity of large inhomogeneous samples, and computational modeling of laboratory experiments to increase their accuracy.
